Soo and Alex’s Wedding at the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

Soo and Alex braved the cold, February weather and began their day with bridal party portraits at Wellesley College. They were married at the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, followed by a reception at the First Church in Cambridge. Their reception was a festive, emotional celebration with family and friends wishing Soo and Alex well with humorous skits and songs.

Chris Prinos Places 4th in WPJA contest for Scene Setter!

Monday, February 5th, 2007

Chris scored twice in the WPJA’s Winter competition:  once with this 1st place winner and also with this intriguing entry in the “Scene Setters” category:

Chris Prinos: 4th place, WPJA Winter 2006 for scene setter in Newport, RI

Comments from the judges:

I’m surprised, who is located here actually in the focal point? This photo works as if it would be assembled from two different pictures and connected only by the dog line. The photographer gives the same space to the persons in the left side and right side of the picture. Thus is very funny. Very well seen by the photographer.

This post-ceremony shot captures a lot of the key characters in Rich & Maria’s wedding, including their pup, who served as the ringbearer!

Judges for the competition:

  • Damon Winter, Photojournalist for the New York Times
  • David H. Wells, Photographer for magazines including Life and National Geographic
  • Ed Kashi, Photojournalist for publications including National Geographic and Newsweek
  • Brooks Johnson, Curator of Photography athe the Chrysler Museum of Art
  • Tim Broekema, professor of Photojournalism / New Media at Western Kentucky University
